Here at Casa de Suna, we’re all about taking care of our Earth in all of the little ways that we can.

One of our favorite little things to do: opt for reusable product picks whenever we can. Here are our favorite ways to make everyday living–and shopping–feel a bit more sustainable.

For our morning beverages

While WFH culture means we’re not always on-the-go anymore, in our minds (and, as a matter of fact, the minds of sleep experts everywhere) nothing beats a morning walk with your caffeinated beverage. Even those who prefer to pick up at their favorite coffee spot in favor of a home-brew can bring a reusable mug along and have it filled.

For our workout

There are few things that make us feel more wasteful than plastic water bottles. If you’re feeling extra-elevated, use our Casafina glass carafe for a reusable option that’s just as functional as it is chic. CDS co-founder Anna loves to fill hers up before bed and leave it by her bedside for a rapid hit of hydration first thing the next morning–it’s also great for health-conscious concoctions like green juice.

For trips to the grocery store

You’ll rarely find us heading to the Farmer’s Market or Grocery Store without a reusable bag and that may be down to the fact that Filt’s French Market totes, our personal favorites, are too fabulous to forget. If your culinary haul includes wine, try an ultra-functional tote with space for bottles like this one from Hill House.

For our leftovers

We’ve come pretty far from the days when Tupperware parties ruled the world–and that’s because there are quite a few new products these days that seem to reign supreme. For wrapping snacks and sandwiches, we’re huge fans of bee’s wrap. And when it comes to larger meals, we regularly find ourselves reaching for our Stashers.

And whether you’re packing your little one lunch or being virtuous by commuting to your office with leftovers in tow, it’s hard to go wrong with a Modern Picnic lunch bag.

For your kitchen

When it comes to both saving space and avoiding waste, buying bulk is the way to go. And when it comes to spice shopping, you don’t even need to leave the house to do it: simply head to our site and select the spices you need from Evermill–just make sure you also order one of the racks, which make refilling spices easier–and more aesthetically pleasing–than ever.

For our makeup

Goodbye makeup wipes, and hello, reusable cotton pads! These cleansing rounds come in a bag that you can toss in your washing machine, meaning that, instead of constantly restocking on cotton balls, you’ll be able to use them again and again with no risk of germs.

For your body

Lots of beauty products provide refills instead of entirely new containers, which makes it easy to reduce your environmental impact. We love Bathing Culture for body wash–and the one-gallon refill means you can go months without restocking.
