One-Pot Winter Meals
One-Pot Winter Meals
One thing that makes it easier to motivate? Restricting your cooking to one pot. Read on for our favorite low-effort, high-impact recipes.
This is one of those meals that looks complicated, but it doesn’t require multiple pans–just a quick pre-blend before you pop ingredients into a cast-iron skillet. The result is a Dutch Baby (think of that as fluffy pancake), finished with a New York-inspired everything bagel spice and a smoked salmon in a nod to Nordic traditions.
If you’re ever looking to impress dinner guests, go for branzino. It’s elevated but healthy and much easier to make than you’d think. Our version includes the special touch of lemon gremolata, which provides an extra punch of Mediterranean flavor.
Another order many reserve for restaurants, halloumi is also far simpler and quicker to whip up at home than many believe. It’s decadent, delicious; the perfect side when it comes to winter comfort food (though it works beautifully in the warmer months, too).
We’ve featured this sheet pan salad before–and we stand by continuing to give it the spotlight, because it really is one of the best ways to pack nutrients and flavor into one single meal–that requires one single pan.
Want to travel to the Mediterranean at any time of year, without a plane ticket? Pop our feta and olives into your oven for a gorgeous and simple Greek-inspired bake. Best served with crusty bread.
