Welcome to our first Founder Series!
This month, we’re featuring our fabulous co-founder Coco Porte, who’s generously shared a few of the things she’s been reading, watching, and loving this month.
Let’s talk television. What shows are you loving right now?
I’m a huge Housewives fan! Beverly Hills, Miami, New Jersey, I love them all! It’s a guilty pleasure, but it’s not all I watch–I love HBO shows. Right now, I’m watching Chernobyl, which is tough but informative.
Alright, what’s something fun you’ve read recently?
I read an article recently on vogue called – The Bride Wore Custom Oscar de la Renta for Her “Heaven on Earth” Wedding on the Amalfi Coast by Alexandra Macon. I am in love with the event planner Sugokuii Events. Everything they do is such a dream.
So fun! When you’re not getting inspired, what do you listen to unwind?
I’m not a great sleeper. I found this podcast called Get Sleepy. I love it, I put it on while I’m trying to fall asleep. You can choose from various voices and it starts with a medication. Great way to end the day!
Okay, let’s get into products. What are you loving from the shop this month?
I love love love this new line we’re carrying Sophie Lou Jacobsen! The ripple cups are fun, playful, and very cute. We have a curated selection on Casa de Suna. You can’t go wrong!
You love to cook. What’s the last recipe you made from the site?
The last recipe I made was Mujadara with Homemade Labneh. It’s delicious, whether you’re a vegetarian like I am, or simply want a meat-free meal.
What are you most looking forward to in the coming season?
I’m looking forward to a new season and for the sun to start staying out later. That always makes a huge difference and makes me feel like I can do more with my (longer) days!
