This recipe makes extra, you can also spoon it over grilled meats and vegetables, or even toss it with noodles for a simple and delicious treat.

Ingredients
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp very finely chopped chives
  • 2 tbsp very finely chopped cilantro
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 6 medium corn cobs, shucked
Instructions
  1. Add butter, miso, chives and cilantro to the bowl of a food processor. Season generously with pepper. Process, scraping down sides if needed, until fully smooth and combined, about 30 seconds.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high.
  3. Oil grate, then place corn on grill. Cook, with lid closed, turning cobs often, until corn is lightly charred and kernels are cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
  4. Using a pastry brush or knife, brush warm cobs with miso butter until fully coated. Serve immediately.

Kitchen Tip

Miso butter will keep in an airtight container for up to a week.
