Barbados Travel Guide: Our Favorite Places to Dine, Shop, & Unwind

If you’ve been following us for a while, you probably already know that we’re lucky enough to live in Barbados.

The island has inspired so much in our lives (if you haven’t tried Casa Picosa, what are you waiting for?) and we’re so excited to be sharing a guide to some of the places we’re most passionate about today, for anyone lucky enough to be planning a trip.

Sea Shed

Located on the beautiful oceanfront, Sea Shed is not just a wonderful restaurant: it also turns into an epic nighttime spot featuring everything from DJ sessions to fire dancers. The food is fabulous, the staff is incredible, and you’re guaranteed to have a good time. Pro tip: head there on a Sunday to maximize the good vibes.

Lime Grove Mall

If you’re looking for a bit of shopping (or simply forgot something in your suitcase), you can’t go wrong at the Lime Grove mall. Even if you don’t need a thing: come for the fabulous window shopping and stay for the amazing restaurants–or pick up a few bits at the incredible gourmet grocery shop.

Cliff Restaurant

This is an easy favorite when it comes to fine dining spots on the island. The food is fantastic, the setting is romantic, and it’s an absolutely perfect place for date night.

Lone Star

A fabulous hotel featuring a restaurant of the same name, Lone Star’s long weekend lunches are another Sunday fave of ours. Busy for lunch? No worries! They’ve got lots of live music evenings on offer, too.

Cobbler’s Cove

Another beautiful, beachside hotel, you may have seen Cobbler’s Cove’s pink-striped umbrellas peppered across your social media feeds at some point–and we’re here to assure you, it’s well worth an in-person visit, too. Located on Barbados’ West Coast, it’s as calming and beautiful IRL as it looks in photos.

La Cabane

This Barbados hotspot brings serious Club 55 (if you’ve been to St. Tropez, you’ll know) energy to the island. From the tables in the sand to the twinkling fairy lights in the evening, there’s nothing like beginning a meal here in the afternoon and enjoying cocktails as the sun sets over the ocean. The food is delicious, and the vibes are fantastic.
